Barbero's Bakery, The Burg

Barbero's Bakery, The Burg
The store on Anderson Street and Conrad Street is now
closed but there are Barbero's branches in the suburbs
still going. I loved the giant donuts under the glass
counter especially in my Trenton High days and of
course Barbero's supplied the rolls to my beloved
Zips Steakhouse:)

HI MAC....MY SISTER ROSE WORKED AT BARBARO'S IN THE 70'S AND I REALLY ENJOYED THE VISITS THEN. THEY PUT OUT THE TASTIEST PRODUCTS AND I A;LWAYS PUT MUCH WEIGHT ON DURING THOSE TIMES. BEST REGARDS.

Hi Ralph:)
If she worked from 1977 to 1980 (My Trenton High days) she might have sold me one of those delicious giant donuts from under the glass counter:)

I worked for Grandpop and Jerry Sr. there in early 80's. Junior and Angelo were just coming up. My best to everyone who is still involved. Jr., Ang., Lou Comisso, Lou Rienzi, Benny, thinking of you.
