Yes, we had our own "Off Broadway" version of West Side Story going on in town. And usually there was a girl at the heart of the beef.
"I saw you looking her up and down at the State Fair" Me & you, in the park and no weapons, got it?
Back when there was a State Fair run by the Hamid family on Nottingham Way. That was the big event after the Feast; there was always something going on but getting into the strip show at the Fair was a true "Rite of Passage".
