Eldorado, 302 Franklin Street, The Burg

Eldorado, 302 Franklin Street, The Burg
The corner of Franklin Street and Roebling Avenue.
Looking through Trenton city directories I see this was
the Eldorado Club for many years.

UPDATE:

Ralph Lucarella adds...
WE LIVED DOWN THE STREET FROM ELDORADO FOR A LONG
WHILE. THE DeGEORGE FAMILY TOOK OVER OWNERSHIP OF
ELDORADO SOMETIME IN THE 70'S AND PAT DeGEORGE
WITH HIS MOTHER DID A TERRIFIC JOB RUNNING THE
KITCHEN. PAT WORKED FOR NEW JERSEY FLOORING FOR
QUITE SOME TIME AND SOMEHOW FOUND THE TIME TO
EXCELL AS A CHEF. REGARDS

Growing up I can't remember not going here after a funeral...my grandparents also celebrated their 50th anniversary there.

We would go there very often in the 70's. Husky would tend bar, Londy would be in and out of the kitchen and bar and Pat would cook, but often their Mom would also be cooking. Always had a great time and got some great recipes! Mom's chicken cacciatore was the best and we still make it!
