Hi Mack: This was another one of our apts, 2 years
after we were married. We had an apt above the
garage on Chestnut, between Butler and Bayard. We
used to cross the Deafies (not Chestnut Park then)
to go to the Park Theatre. I was working nights at
the Post Office then and was able to sleep better
during the day. I worked 2 years on the night
shift before I was a letter carrier in the 40s.
