Saint Francis Cemetery, Washington Street, The Burg
This was only like 5 blocks from our house in the
Burg on Liberty Street but I never once saw anyone
being buried in this cemetery..in fact I never saw
anyone ever visiting a grave in here. It could have
just been my timimg but thats my Burg memory of this.

Living on Roebling ave, I could see this cemetery from my house. The older guys would scare the heck out of us younger kids with scary stories. Sometimes, given the opportunity, they would throw us over the fence. Talk about being scared! There was a little chapel in the middle I believe which seemed to always have a candle lit in it, hence the scary stories.I also, never saw anyone enter it either Mack.
