Ralph Lucarella On A Few Burg Subjects

Ralph Lucarella On A Few Burg Subjects

Who were your barbers back in the day?

HI MAC...I HAD QUITE A FEW BARBERS, SISTI ON EMMETT AVENUE
NEAR QUINTON AVENUE (Vito Sisti 101 Emmett Avenue), TONY
ON LIBERTY NEAR CHAMBERS AND SOME ON THE ROUTES I
WORKED WHILE WITH THE POST OFFICE.

When did you first see the New York Yankees in person?

THE FIRST TIME I SAW THE YANKEES PLAY WAS AT SHIDE PARK
IN PHILLY IN 1932. THEY WERE PLAYING THE A'S AND WON 23
TO 2. TONY LAZZERI DROVE IN 12 RUNS THAT DAY. I THINK
THAT STILL IS A RECORD.

What doctors did you go to before your brother became a
doctor?

I HARDLY WENT TO SEE DOCTORS WHEN I WAS YOUNGER CAUSE
I NEVER HAD PROBLEMS (KNOCK ON WOOD). I DID HAVE VISITS
WITH DR. JOE BRENNA, DR. SCRAPPY MIGLIORI AND DR.
GINANGRASSO. OF COURSE NOW THAT I'M 91 YEARS OLD
I HAVE QUITE A FEW. BEST REGARDS.

Thanks for the memories and reflections Ralph:)
