Ralphs (Raspatello) Barber Shop 1448 South Clinton Avenue
says its been part of the Burg area for over 20 years AKA began
in 1955.
Michael Commini Travel Agency 159 Hamilton Avenue.
Bills Mens Shop at the Corner of Hamilton Avenue and South
Clinton Avenue since 1939 according to the ad.

IT'S ME AGAIN MAC.....I CAN RECALL MANY OF THESE PLACES BEING AROUND IN THE 20'S AND 30'S. HUDSON GARDENS IT SEEMS WAS THERE WHEN I WAS BORN ON MOTT ST. IN THE 20'S. THE STORE ON BERT AND ROEBLING WAS RALPH'S BUTCHER SHOP IN THE 20'S. RALPH CALISTI WAS THE OWNER ALONG WITH HIS BROTHER PETE. IN THOSE DAYS IT SEEMED LIKE THERE WERE STORES ON EVERY CORNER OF THE BURG. REGARDS TO ALL.

That hasnt changed in all these years, there are a perhaps a bit fewer but the Burg still has tons of stores:)
