HI MAC...WE LIVED AT NARDI'S APT BUILDING NEXT DOOR TO THE STORE IN 1940. I WAS WORKING NIGHTS AT THE POST OFFICE AND HAD TROUBLE SLEEPING DURIBG THE DAY CAUSE THE KIDS WOULD KEEP ME AWAKE. WE WERE PAYING $18 A MONTH RENT AND HAD THE CONVIENCE OF HIS STORE NEARBY. IT WAS OUR FIRST APT AFTER WE WERE MARRIED AND OTHER THAN THE KIDS NOISE WE ENJOYED IT. BEST REGARDS.

That big building still looks nice from the outside although its now all apartments..aka no store there:)
