Class Trips for Burg kids? Often The Old Barracks, Pennsbury
Manor, The Franklin Institute, The Philly Art Museum, The Philly Zoo.
I was on 2 Class trips to The Met with Mrs Gianettis Italian Class
to see the Opera. I dont know much about Opera but it sounded
nice and more importantly it was a trip to New York City.
My Brother played a musical instrament in school and had
Mr Puccatti as his music teacher. Mrs Norcross was the Music
Teacher in Jr#4 (remember how big that classroom was?).
We went to Seaside Heights as a class trip one year !!

Catholic class trips were but a rumor; something that other kids did.
Grammar school we went for a few hours to Cadwalader Park.
Notre Dame and for that matter even Trenton High didn't have trips in the 1960's.
One year at ND we went to DC to watch some basketball final and the National Cathedral.
