HI MAC...THAT CORNER IS WHERE TWO OF THE REAL POPULAR GIN MILLS OF THE BURG WERE LOCATED, BARTOLINI'S AND ROSSI'S. BEING LOCATED NEAR WETZEL FIELD WAS ALSO A BIG FACTOR. IT SURE BRINGS BACK MANY MEMORIES OF THE AREA. BEST REGARDS

Bartolini's is now a sports bar but appears to be doing OK biz..as least any time I am around the place it has people going in and out.
I love the term Gin Mill and Ralph is correct, Rossi's nearby:)
Gin Mill there is a term I haven't heard in years, my aunts use to call any bar a gin mill. LOL
