Fall Comes To Franklin Street, The Burg

Fall Comes To Franklin Street, The Burg
This is the block that has St Francis Cemetery on one side
of it. That ends at Roebling Avenue. The Eldorado Club
was at Franklin & Roebling for decades. God Bless The
Old Burg:)

HI MAC...AS YOU KNOW, THIS IS ALSO WHERE I LIVED FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS. MY MOTHER, SISTER AND BROTHER CHUCK LIVED HERE MUCH LONGER. CHUCK WENT TO JR.2 AND GOT TO SPEND MUCH TIME AT WETZEL FIELD LIKE I DID. HE PLAYED ON THE 1948 SCHROTHS WHEN THEY WON THE AMERICAN LEGION WORLD SERIES AND LATTER WITH WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY IN NORTH CAROLNA. ALSO LIVING ON FRANKLIN WAS TONY BERNABI, A CHAMPION SWIMMER FOR TRENTON HIGH AND MANY OTHER FINE BALL PLAYERS.
