815 Liberty Street, The Burg.
Liberty Deli then and now. This was across the street
from my house. For many years I remember it opened
at 5 AM and closed at 8PM. They sold a gazillion flowers
on Easter and Mothers Day.
Coffee, The Paper, Cigs, Bread, Milk, Eggs, Hoagies, Soda,
Candy, Ice Cream, The Lottery.
I remember Mrs Molnar owned it then left, then came back..
there was big sign in the window then MRS MOLNAR IS BACK.
Burg days now gone but not forgotten:)
UPDATE: They are redoing the exterior of this so I got this
picture just in time:)

I worked in the store when I was a kid, stocking shelves bagging potatoes in 5 lb bags, and what you forgot to mention was the home made kolbasz fresh and smoked and the head cheese and hurka, they used to make these things at Mrs Molnars house on S Clinton Ave, my mom, Mrs Nemeth and Mrs Rogers (Emil (Srs.) mom would get together every Wednesday to make the kolbasz and things, this goes way back when she and Mr Molnar, (Sandor bacsi) had the little store in the row of "garages" on Liberty St. They are all gone now, Mrs Molnar lost her legs, Mr Molnar died, Betty LiCari died, Gus LiCari moved to Florida. I lost contact with him so I don't know if he is still with us. They were a great family and wonderful friends... good memories

Mrs Molnar was a sweetie.
I was a kid when they had the store
so things like head cheese or kolbas would be like number 97 on my list when compared with the candy and ice cream, thanks for mentioning them:)
The Licaris lived at the store til the late 70s/early 80s before they
moved to Hiltonia. My Dad knew them
well and one of my sisters best friends was their daughter Dawn.
