A View of Howell Street From Franklin Park, Franklin Park

A View of Howell Street From Franklin Park, Franklin Park
Howell Street was only a few blocks long but had many
nice semi-detached homes and trees on it as it got
further from the Burg. Our Ralph Lucarella once lived on
the first block which began at Liberty Street, his home
was about a 45 second walk from our house, but he lived
there and moved somewhere else before we lived on
Liberty Street.

UPDATE:Ralph Lucarella adds...
HI MAC.....ELMER BOKA AND KATHERINE PINTINELLI, BOTH
GOOD FRIENDS LIVED ON THE SECOND BLOCK OF HOWELL.
KATHERINE MARRIED BILL WHO DEVELOPED A LARGE PART OF
MERCERVILLE AND HAS A STREET NAMED AFTER HIM THERE.
REGARDS

THE OTHER DAY WE MENTIONED A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE OLD BURG AND SAMMY LIGHT SELLING FURNITURE. WELL, HIS GRANDDAUGHTER, JUDITH LIGHT, WHO STARRED WITH TONY DANZA ON THE TV SHOW"WHOSE THE BOSS: WILL BE ON REGIS PHIBIN'S SHOW TOMORROW MORNING. SHE DOES'NT APPEAR TO HAVE AGED MUCH.

Ralph, years ago my wife and I were watching Law & Order and I said "hey I know her" and I remembered her from the Tony Danza thing.

I looked her up on Wiki and they had her as the daughter of Sid Light and say that she grew up in Trenton but went to the Saint Mary's Hall private school in Burlington (it was Episcopal back then). But dang, she must have done a year at TCHS or perhaps I met her at the Sanhican soda fountain back then, because I knew that face from my teen years. She had those same very dignified good looks back then.

Here is a fun one Mack, I entered this in a twisted lyrics contest years ago. I made it up but sadly it didn't win? See if you can guess the original song?

Hold me close now Tony Danza
Count the head lice on the highway

Got it? This is like the Creedence "There's a bathroom on the right"
