An Interior View of Burg Legend Rossi's

An Interior View of Burg Legend Rossi's
501 Morris Avenue. You could not have an Old Burg
without places like Rossi's, Crecco's, The Casino,
etc. And Legendary Rossi's rolls on. You can still
go get a Rossiburger :)

What ever happened to all of the Yankee signed photos and such? I was a bit disappointed a few years ago. My father in law is a rabid (not avid, rabid :), Yankee fan. I told him all about Joe DiMagio and such and the pics.

Is that Gil's daughter or his son's wife (always got mixed up), but with the business still in the family I was surprised to see things were gone.

The dining room still looks the same and it's been 21 years since I've been there. Great place to eat.

JoeZ there were autographed pictures of JoeD and I believe Yogi that are no longer there.

I really looked for them the last time and there were gone. I Imagine the son Mike took them when he retired because I haven't seen him in there in years. The last time I was in there was when I was putting in for Social Security about a year and a half or so.

Geezz, now I want a Rossi Burger. I passed the new DeLorenzo when I had to pick up a loaner car this morning. To early for any food but too long to wait. Our local dealer closed so now I have to drive to Cranbury or Denville if something goes wrong with my wifeys car.

Tomorrow perhaps Papas. I hope.

Skip ... have a great weekend guys.

I was up there from Florida on my annual pilgramage, and I remember seeing the pictures, and of course the sign out front that reads 'JOE DIMIAGIO CORNER"

ROSSI'S AND THE CORNER ACROSS THE STREET ALSO WERE VERY POPULAR WHEN WE WERE LIVING ON FRANKLIN STREET.THE CITY OF TRENTON HAD MANY SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUBS LIKE THE KENT A.A., THE BARRONS A.A. THE FULTON AVE. CLUB AND VILLA PARL SOCIAL CLUB. NORTH AND EAST TRENTON ALSO HAD THEIRS. THE CLUB ACROSS FROM ROSSI'S WAS STILL ACTIVE THE LEST TIME I VISITED. BILL NOLAN, REYNOLDS FUNARI THE MASTERPOLI BROTHERS AND MATT HAHN WERE JUST A FEW MEMBERS. IT ALL GOES BACK TO THE KENT TIGERS WHO STARTED IN A GARAGE ON KENT ST, IN THE EARLY 1920'S. BEST REGARDS.
