Hub City Liquor Store, 886 South Broad Street, The Burg

Hub City Liquor Store, 886 South Broad Street, The Burg
The corner of South Broad Street and Beatty Street.
This was Hub City Liquor Store in the 1950s, in my Burg
day, and remains so today:)

UPDATE:

JoeB adds...
Mack:
Hub City was owned by Sido Ridolfi's brother who also
had a Bar Called the Novel Bar on Montgomery Street
across from the comfort station. The bar was moved to
E Sate Street by Montgomery St. when the buildings
were knocked down and Arnold Constable was built.
The son operated the Hub City and recently sold
the store.

Hi Joe:)
Broadway Record Center was the only place within easy walking distance to buy records for half of my Burg days (until Toms Record Shop opened on South Clinton).
Buy 10 get 1 free!! Chester has just passed away recently, he was a Burg legend:)
