Fall Comes To Revere Avenue, Villa Park

Fall Comes To Revere Avenue, Villa Park
This picture was taken from the corner of Liberty Street
and Revere Avenue. For many of my Burg area years there
was a WaWa Store on this corner. Its still a store but
no longer a WaWa. Our JoeZ lived on the end of this
block in one of those nice semi-detached homes with
big porches that Villa Park is so famous for:)

HI MAC AND JOE....REVERE AVE. WAS ALWAYS MY FAVORITE IN VILLA PARK WHILE WE LIVED ON BERT AVE. IT WAS THE ONLY ROAD THAT WAS PAVED WHILE ALL THE OTHERS WERE GRAVEL AT THE TIME. IT WAS THE ONLY STREET WE WERE ABLE TO ROLLER SKATE ON. MY GOOD FRIEND FRED DeBRONZO BUILT HIS HOUSE ON REVERE USING A LOT OF THE MATERIAL FROM THE OLD HIGH SCHOOL ON HAMILTON AND CHESTNUT. I HAVE MANY FOND MEMORIES OF THAT NEIGHBORHOOD. BEST REGARDS.
