Seaside Heights NJ
Time was running out at this time of year for folks who
wanted to get in a last trip down the shore to go swimming.
Better get that cooler in the back of the station wagon
and get to Seaside Heights or Metedeconk or LBI or Wildwood
or Point Pleasant or Atlantic City as soon as possible:)

September and October great months to visit the Jersey Shore and grab that slice of pie or an Italian Sausage Sandwich.
Crowds are gone and the bay is quiet. I could just drop anchor down by the "Stink House" off the Beach Haven Inlet and watch the clouds go drifting past. There was always something so relaxing about the rocking and sound of water lapping against the hull.
Good time of year and if you were going to see a Pelican it was about now.
I pity the poor Pelican
For his beak
Can hold more fish
Than his belly can

Great. Last two words "belly can" sounds like pelican. (I guess on purpose?)
