Saint Francis Hospital

Saint Francis Hospital.
Where I was born, where Mom and Sister Shari once worked,
Where Ralph's brother Dr. Chuck Lucarella worked...
Usually referred to by locals just as Saint Francis..
often pronounced "Sane France isss" lol, us local and
that middle "T"...

My mom was a graduate of the St. Francis school of nursing and worked there for 35 years. We loved it when she took us to Sunday mass in the hospital chapel because it was usually a pretty quick service!

IT SEEMS LIKE ST. FRANCIS HOSPITAL HAS BEEN THERE FOR EVER. WHEN WE WERE KIDS IT WAS A BIG BATTLE BETWEEN US AND THE SISTERS. THEIR YARD WAS FULL OF CHERRY TREES AND WE SOMEHOW GOT IN THERE AND PICKED THEM WHENEVER THEY WERE'NT AROUND. I'M SURE THEY PROBABLY WOULD HAVE ALLOWED US SOME BUT WE LOVED TO JUMP THE FENCE AND BEHAVE LIKE IDIOTS. I OFTEN WONDERED WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THOSE TREES. BEST REGARDS.
