Was the A&M Diner was the really old diner car, next to what was the Sunoco station? Not sure what the business name was back in my day. We always took the back entrance off of Freudenmacher Alley.

A lot of guys I knew bought their clothing at Paris. The in place of the 70's. If I'm right they did fashion shows at Brother's Saloon on Sundays also. Good Old Disco Years.

South Broad & Dye Sts. diagonally across from Apex Lumber and Madison St (extension of Adeline St)...Freudenmacher Alley ended (or started) at Dye St behind Weinberg's department store. There is another alley between Adeline St and South Broad...Busier Alley that ran from Cass St at Stacy Beef. Me and the guys always travelled the alley-ways!

The alleys were THE way to get around when we were kids. We used them too.

Sax, the dept store at Dye and S Broad was Allen Brothers, with the x-ray sizing machines for your Pol Parrot shoes.

Just wondering - was that diner car known as the Broadway Diner in the 50s - early 60s?
