Burg Memory Lane
I would just like to take a moment to thank all the readers
and contributors to this blog. Its fun walking down memory
lane with all you good folks. The story of the Burg area is
really the story of family. Thats what made it what it was
in the old days. Days when ladies swept in front of their
homes and you could walk safely anywhere in the Burg at
all hours of the day. God Bless The Old Burg:)

...I'M WITH YOU AGAIN MAC. ALL THROUGH THE YEARS WE HAVE LIVED IN MANY DIFFERENT LOCATIONS BUT NEVER IN AN AREA WHERE NEIGHBORS AND FRIENDS CARED ABOUT EACH OTHER AS THEY DID IN OLD CHAMBERSBURG. WE CAME THROUGH TOUGH TIMES AND GOOD TIMES BUT ALWAYS IN A MANNER THAT CONCERNED EACH OTHER. THANK GOD.
Amen Ralph:)
It was a special place:)
Mack and Ralph:
The Burg was a tight knit neighborhood but I even remember around my grandmother's house on Home Ave. the neighborhood was the same way. Those days hold special memories and a time that may never come again.
