Jimmie DeLorenzo & Mario Andretti

Jimmie DeLorenzo & Mario Andretti
Jimmie Delorenzo's Camera Shop was a Burg Legend as are
DeLorenzo's Tomato Pies:)

UPDATE: Ralph Lucarella adds...
Hi Mack: Jimmie DeLorenzo sure got around. My sister law just
heard from one of Jimmie's good friends, Frankie Bodner, Joe
Bodner's brother. Jimmie, Frankie and Tommy from Hudson Beer
Garden were best friends and visited us down in Florida on
occasions. Frank Bodner and his sister are the last of the
Bodners that had the service station on So. Clinton Ave.
for years.

Ralph,

Can you give me an idea where Frankie lives? If possible, I'd love to call him.

Thx!

Ralph and Mack,

I just spoke with Julia Bodnar.
Frankie passed away two days ago.
It really pains me. Just two days late.

Rest your soul, Frank! God Bless!

Frank E. Bodnar TRENTON - Frank E. Bodnar, 82, of Trenton entered into God's care on Wednesday in St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. He served in the Army during World War II and was the co-owner/operator of Bodnar's Service Station in Trenton for many years before his retirement. He was an avid tennis player.

Predeceased by his parents, John T. and Julia T. (Magyar) Bodnar, and two brothers, Joseph and John F. Bodnar, he is survived by his loving sister, Julia M. Bodnar of Vineland.

He is also survived by three nieces; two nephews, and nine great-nieces and great-nephews. Frank was a loving, caring person to his family and many friends. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, or St. Francis Medical Center, 601 Hamilton Ave., Trenton, NJ 08629. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Chambers D'Errico and Correnti Funeral Home under the direction of Emil A. Rogers.

.... I was shocked when I read the bad news about Frank Bodnar today. My sister law Marge who was married to Joe Bodnar also was very surprised. She is 89 and in failing health, the news just made her feel worse. Frankie never got married and still lived on Morris Ave., where the Bodnars home was for years. His sister Julia from Vineland is the last Bodnar around that represents the owners of what was probably the most popular service station in the Burg. May God Bless Him and may He rest in peace.

Thank you to everyone who has said so many wonderful things about my late father, Jimmie DeLorenzo, and also my father's great friend, the late Frank Bodnar. I am certain that they are together with all their friends and family watching over us.
