Thats it Mack keep making me hungry for one of those pies. Nice photo.
I am curious to know why this was known as tomato pie in the Burg but as pizza everywhere else.
Must be a reason.

Trenton is known for their tomato pie. The second oldest tomato pie restaurant in the country is Papa's Tomato Pies that is located in Trenton, NJ. Trenton tomato pie is thin crust. In Trenton's version of tomato pie, the cheese (mozzarella) is placed on the pie first followed by the sauce. A few tomato pie eateries exist in Trenton's Chambersburg district, most famously Papa's, Delorenzo's on Hudson Street, and Delorenzo's on Hamilton Avenue.
