The Camelot Lounge, Chambers Street, The Burg

The Camelot Lounge, Chambers Street, The Burg
There was the Camelot Lounge in my Burg day. I do
not know what it was before that if it was something
different before that:)

UPDATE:
Noel Vento points out that this place was once called
The Four Ovals which is a reference to its windows.
I have it officially known as The Four Oval Inn in
the 1950s.. owners Anthony, Edward & Lena Constantini.

Fellow who owned the place was a bit "checkered" and ran a club downtown.

I remember my dad telling me that the small and high windows on Trenton bars had something to do with closing time and last call so the TPD couldn't see in if the door was locked. Second theory was that the windows were high so your wife or some passerby ... well, you could get snookered in the privacy of your friends.
