Buona Pasqua a Tutti/Happy Easter to Everyone
Easter in the Burg was Church and Family and Candy
and Colored Eggs and a week off from school. Note
that order..Church was the big event of Easter, then
candy and the other aspects of the Holiday.

Happy Easter to all you good folks.
That brought back the memory of when they were building the addition on the back of the old Columbus School, now torn down, and we were running around as Granny would say .. "Like Wild Indians" .. and I scuffed the toe of my new shiny Easter shoes and tore a hole in my pants while climbing out of the newly laid block of the foundation.
The best part was the family .. all of the cousins of about one age group running amok and wreaking havoc. You had to work up an appetite for the dinner right .. actually they wouldn't let us in the house.
