Great memories...Parrot was a fixture when I played in the CLL. Does anyone remember Tom "Pi" Sforza? He was a fire dispatcher, and was my coach on Campis. Great guy!
Hi Mack: I've heard of and knew most of these people, who I'm sure devoted a lot of time to the Chambersburg Little League. It was only after I got with Wetzel Field, where most of my time was spent. In my younger days we had no Little Leagues; we called them Playground Leagues. The Little Leagues were better organized and had much better playing fields. It was a big improvement for the younger ball players.
