1086 South Broad Street, The Burg.
1086 South Broad Street, The Burg.
Once upon a time this was Helen's Luncheonette.
In my Burg Day this was M.A.B. Paint Store.
This is near our old office Appraisal Exchange
1095 South Broad Street which was there for many
years. Also nearby was Sam Marazzo's Market, The
Harley Davidson Place, Marsh Hobby Shop, A Campi's
Store (in the 70s), Ginos (then Roy Rogers)
, Mona's (Good Breakfast for a dollar and open all
night)...I could go on and on and on..... :)

.... and our affable Barb P lived in the shadow of the building.
Across Division St was the County Medical building where we had to get chest x-rays if anybody though we might have had TB (tuberculosis). Once upon a time that was a local neighborhood hospital, wasn't it?
Lots of stuff was going-on in that area, and all on the way home from Jr 4.
I miss this area so much.
I saw it everyday when I worked
with Dad at Appraisal Exchange
for years and years.
Where did the time go?
Barb P was a part of that too:)
God Bless The Old Burg:)
