The generosity and goodwill of Victor Opalski, 82, former owner

Is there a high school in New Jersey that has produced more

Mack: Burg Diary on Home Ave., best Walk-A-Way Sundaes ever.
Hi Mack: You notice that in 1936 we had 3 players, Nemchick, Pietras and Chmielewski on the Olympic team. Another outstanding player from North Trenton, who was my teamate on the 1936 Schroths was Ted Swieconek.Ted stared in soccer and baseball at Trenton High and was among the many North Trenton players who joined with guys from the Burg to produce stars in every sport.
Hi Joe & Ralph:)
I find this about Ted Sweiconeck
on the National Soccer Hall of Fame
Site:
Ted Swieconek (last played in the ASL in 1948). Played nine seasons in the ASL between 1939 and 1948 for Philadelphia German-Americans/Philadelphia Americans. ASL champion in 1942, 1944 and 1947 with Philadelphia Americans.
I note the Burg dairy was on
276 Home Avenue and I have no pictures of that. I will put that on the "to-do list" :)
I might add Mack; In addition to all the outstanding players the city of Trenton has supplied in sports, we also have contributed two members of the United States Supreme Court
