haha. Dr. Zelinski's son Barry was my first boyfriend (in kindergarden). Now, I've been married to an optometrist for 25 years (no relation).
after optometry, john rutkowski became a teacher. he was my electronics teacher at TCHS.
while i was at TCHS, he was writing two books 1) "it didn't happen on my watch" a novel based on his time in the navy, and 2) a book about wine (i don't know the title). i never saw the books in their published form.
dr. rutkowski, everybody just called him "doc", was a great teacher and a good guy.
