Capitol Arena AKA Capitol Roller Skating Rink, Lalor Street, South Trenton

Capitol Arena AKA Capitol Roller Skating Rink, Lalor
Street, South Trenton. This is a picture from the
1950s. Thanks SJBill:)

SJ Bill adds:
The 0verhead spotlight that illuminated the entrance was blue.

It was great to get into this place and hear the music and see
the sights. I was a crappy roller skater, but fully enjoyed
the sights and sounds of the building.

This place was really a wonderful part of S. Trenton.

Wow !!! Do I remember this place. We all loved it here. Of course we all rented skates. I think it was Boltom Holmes that played the organ. That was a long tine agao. Great Picture, Great memory.

Hi Mack and Ed: I remember that place well. Boltom Holmes did a great job there and he also played the organ at the Lincoln Theatre. I think they eventually turned it into a garage for Trenton Transit, I believe. Regards.
