I belive the proper name for this establishment was "The Garden Art Theater".
There was something about "Art" in a name, like the "Bristol Art Theater" in Bristol.
Never went to either. ;-)
Hi Mack: I believe The Garden Theatre featured foreign movies. I remember it because it was next to Mel Blatt;s bowling store, if I recall correctly. Stern's furniture store was also nearby on N. Broad St. For some reason, those theatres that featured foreign films called themselves Art Theatres.
