This was taken from near the corner of Anderson
Street and Conrad Street. I can almonst smell the
delicious Bakery Products from Barbero's Bakery
and the Casino was nearby too:)
Hi Mack: I had a relative living on Conrad St. some time ago. She was right from Casadrino, Italy and married to a local guy from the Burg. We visited her family in Italy and my mother also spent 3 months with them along with a group from St. Joachim's sometime in the 60s. You mention Barbaro's, my sister worked there for quite sometime and I had the chance to taste all their goodies often. Regards.
