"Anything May Happen" 1943
"Anything May Happen" 1943
The Trenton War Memorial Building
Sunday Feb 28th 1943 (Look at that date Dad!)
Address from George W Page, Trenton Public Safety Director:
Some of “our men in blue” have gone Hollywood tonight in a farce
which is challenging demonstration to the dramatic ability of
Bob Hope, Spencer Tracy and Pat O’Brien. It will be as impressive
a performance as Trentonians have ever seen – I hope. I believe
that such an event is not only stimulating to the morale of the
department but worthy of my endorsement.
Along with my best wishes to the cast goes the hope that “Anything
May Happen” will prove a very entertaining vehicle.I, too, would
like to remember the 25 young men of the department who are now
in the service of the armed forces of the United States, some of
whom were among the cast at its last presentation.
Next: Address from William Dooling, Chief of the Trenton Police
Department.
The Police Department of the City of Trenton welcomes the
citizen-patrons in quest of wholesome entertainment presented by
the police personnel. The response to the seat sale is gratifying,
and the show’s fine reception is symbolic of the Good feeling that
prevails between the citizens and the uniformed defenders of their
interests and property. It is just this type of spirit that makes
our community the neighborly and orderly city that it is. May you
enjoy the show – “Anything May Happen.”

Mike,
Thank you, we were at this one.
Hi Dad:)
This is a link to the fine
website where I found this.
It has a list of all the PBA
Members. I did not add that to
the post because I want folks
to give that site a hit as they
deserve it:
