215 Morris Avenue, The Burg
Once Chiesa Apostolica Di Cristo.
(Apolistolic Church of Christ)
It is listed as such in the 1950s but I don't remember
what it was in my day. It was along my paper route walk
and I passed by it often as a Burg streetscape item but
don't remember if it was a church then in the 1970s.
Anyone remember this place?

Hey Mack, I remember this church well. Although I only went there once with my grandmother, I remember it being very small. This would have been in the early 50's and there were many trees on that street back then.

THE HOUSE WAS OWNED BY SOME STRANG LITTLE GUY, WHO NEVER TALKED TO ANYONE. SOME SAY HE WAS A COUNTY WORKER OTHERS SAY HE WAS AN IRONWORKER NAMED MIKE BEAVER, IT WAS A CHURCH AT FIRST, BUT HE BOUGHT IT AND DID SOME GREAT WORK FIXING IT UP. THEY SAY HE MOVED OUT AND WENT TO CALIFORNIA,WHERE HE BECAME AN ACTOR DOING HORROR FILMS
