1068 South Broad Street, The Burg

1068 South Broad Street, The Burg
Once upon a time this was Leonard Frost's Tavern according
to my records.

It wasn't only Lenny Frosts Tavern, Mrs. Frost also ran a
boarding house when I was a kid. Single men only and they
grew veggies and had a chicken coop in the rear. It was also
the Chambersburg Hunting Club, used to hang dead deer from the
front of the building to cure (yuck). Scared me to death when I
was little, didn't know how Santa was going to get to my house.
Became Bill Walters Bar when he retired from the Trenton Police
and then 3rd Precinct, when Jimmy Purcell (Stretch) bought it
when he retired from Trenton Police.

Hi JoeZ:)

This is an old comment I found that
Barb made and it was too good not to post.

Mack, I did not know it was an old comment. I wonder how she is doing?
