The Skies Were Blue Over Chambers Street, The Burg
They sure were. Click on the picture and see what I
mean. What a great day this was. You can see Trenton
High in the distance (Don't tear down Trenton High- Editors
Note). You can also see a bit of the fence near the parking
for Saint Francis Hospital. In my Trenton High day there
was no fence and there was a phone booth near the corner
of Chambers Street and Hamilton Avenue.. that is gone too.
I might have been in this picture..ahh any school day from
September 1977 to June 1980:)

Hi Mack: That is just about the time my brother Chuck opened his doctors office on Chambers St., across from the hospital parking garage. Is that street corner called Forrest Ave? It's a short street that runs between Chambers and Washington. My memory is starting to fade in my old age. I spent most of my younger years in that neighborhood. Regards.
Hi Ralph:)
Yes its Forest Street.
Your're memory is GREAT as usual:).
Nappys Pizza was a block down
in my Trenton High days.. it was
where the 7-11 is now.
They have now built a Chambers
Street entrance to the hospital.
I would love to have a picture
of your brother the doc to post
(as well as bowling lanes on Rt33..
no pics ever sent to me of that.
I have every email sent to the blog.)If you can't do it, don't
worry as I am thankful for all the
contributions you make to the blog
as it is, Thanks Ralph:)
Ralph, I am amazed at how sharp your memory is. You come across like "one of the guys." I was a pharmaceutical rep from '77 to '81 in Trenton. I remember calling on your brother, Dr Lucarella. He was always welcoming to me, partly because of my Dad being a fellow physician of his and partly because he was a great human being and doctor. Please keep commenting.
