A Sunny Day on Genesee Street, Franklin Park

A Sunny Day on Genesee Street, Franklin Park
This was just beyond the Burg and I might have walked
along here to or from school in my Junior Four days.
With all the trees green, for school purposes it
would have been in September or after May for it to
look like this:)

Hi Mack: I lived on Genesee St. a short while, just before I went into the service in 1944. If that is Dayton St, then we lived in the 2nd house from the corner. One of my neighbors was Pete Gaufetti, who also was my neighbor on Mott St. My wife and baby had to move in with her mother at 13 Howell St. I know that was your old neighborhood. Regards.

Sciarotta's Golden Slipper BAr and Restaurant. Phyllis Sciarotta was a classmate of mine at Jr 4.

The Sciarotta family moved out to Windsor and bought the Windsor Inn, IIRC. Now Amarone's Windosor Inn, it's currently co-owned by another of my old THS classmates, Wiley Storaci.
