Junior Four Baseball Field

Junior Four Baseball Field
You can see Lalor Street in the distance.
This picture was taken this summer.
My Alma Mater Junior Four still looks very nice
.. the buildings, the grounds, and the fields:)

Hi Mack: I played on the 1934 Jr.4 baseball team. Mr Ray Wood was our coach and we had proably the best Junior High School team in the city. The best young ball players at that time came from Chambwersburg and South Trenton. Most of them also played on the Schroths teams and latter on played in all the different leagues in the area. There were no Little League or Babe Ruth leagues then so we ended up playing with much older guys.

I played baseball their as well back in 1970's with alot of my friends from South Trenton, during those summer months also. I can remember trying out for the South Trenton Babe Ruth League on that field, back in 1974 that's where they held their tryouts.

South Trenton Babe Ruth League
I played for FMBA from 1974-1975, our coach was Jim Parsons.
