The Bear Cage at Cadwalader Park, Trenton
While Cadwalader Park is not in the Burg, many Burg folks
went there at times back in the day. I remember those
cool gates coming into the park, the monkeyhouse, the
fire engine kids ride, and of course the Bear Cage:)

Hi Mack: I'll always remember the park as the place we played most of our games when I was with the 1936 Schroths baseball team. There were tennis courts in right field and would you believe I almost hit a ball in there batting left handed one day. We always drew big crowds and that made me feel a little uncomfortable.
