In front of this building is an historical marker commemorating Benjamin Yard and his iron forge which was located at this site during Revolutionary War times. Benjamin Yard was my mother's
4-great grandfather. Although I stood at the bus stop in front of this building numerous times I never noticed the marker until 15 years ago.
