Saint Joachim's, A Church Door

Saint Joachim's, A Church Door.
Many of Chambersburgs Church Buildings were both a
spiritual and artistic experience:)

UPDATE: Carlo adds:

These doors were installed just before St Joachim's Centennial
Celebration in 2001 under the direction of Father Jeffrey E.Lee
Much effort and research went into this project, so that the doors
would compliment the neo-Romanesque facade of the church.
The design of the church is very similiar to that of many churches
in Italy, a feature which the immigrants wanted to remind them
of their places of worship back home.
