122 Butler Street, The Burg
Once upon a time this was Landolfi's Pastry Shop:)
Another Burg Legend.
Thank you Nancy Germano for these magnificent pictures:)

Hope you enjoy them , I sure miss that place, without a doubt the best Italian pastries I have ever eaten.
UPDATE: A careful look at the enlarged color picture here revealed
a black and white colored cat on Landolfi's front porch (anyone know its name?) .
The cat is looking at a women in shorts on the porch of what appears
to be 126 Butler Street 2 doors down.
UPDATE #2: Tom Pass went to Landolfi's in Pawley Island South Carolina
and found out that this sign is there "In all its glory" and..
The cat in this picture did not belong to the Landolfi family
Thanks Tom:)

I am in my SC condo and will be going to Landolfi's in Pawley's Island tonight for dinner. Pastries remain a real treat. They have a large establishment that serves salads, sandwiches, wood oven pizza's, beer/wine, etc. Will be opening up their new martini bar adjacent to present building.
Still miss Landolfi's, they made the best Italian pastries. No family birthday was complete without their rum cake!
Yeah, it's good to know they are only 700 miles away! Anyone want to take orders for cannolis and shoot down there for us?
Hey, the thought of moving to Pawleys Island doesn't seem too terrible either, we could make another Burg around Landolfi's !!!
We would have to add a middle
name to our nicknames in the
SC Burg...ie Joey-Bob, Johnny-Jim....and we would have to amend
fuggetaboutit to fuggetaboutit-ya'll. Pass the grits & Canoli:)
When Gary made biscotti's when he first opened, folks returned them and they did not want "stale" cookies. They just did not get it then but boy do they now. Gary and Suzanne said that the cat in question did not belong to them.
PS
The familiar neon sign now hangs from ceiling in all its old glory in their new bar.
Hi Tom:)
Thank you :)
I will add these to the post:)
