Immaculate Conception Church Windows Part 3, The Burg

Immaculate Conception Church Windows, Part 3, The Burg.

Ed Boyle Writes: Mack, Three more pictures your readers may enjoy. I don't know the origin or date of these windows, but I will guess they were made in Germany or Austria and installed soon after the cornerstone year of 1888. I will also guess that they cost about $500 each. In 1890, that was quite a sum. But money well spent. The painted glass is still there, beautiful as ever, 120 years later. Let it last 120 years more.

Best, Ed

Thanks for these pictures Ed:)

"My" church ... how I still love that place ... no other church ever makes me feel like Immaculate did. As a little girl, I imagined it was what a great cathedral must be like - soaring gothic ceilings, gorgeous stained glass, and the smell of incense during High Mass.
