My Dad and Tindall were good friends. Spent many many nights out to dinner c my parents and the Tindalls at Trienfettis along with Frankie (owner) in the back private dining room just off the kitchen. I remember as a kid going into the kitchen and watching the chefs making Turtle Soup.
Back to Tindall (he never used his first name), his wife had a pink Caddy convertible and he got a new red Ford Mustang (now a classic). We were all out to dinner one night and of course I was flipping out about this car, I'm guessing it was probably about a 59 or 60 model. Tindall saw how I was taken by this car and FLIPPED ME THE KEYS and said "take it for a ride". I was about 15 yrs old no license and my Dad was flipping. Tindall said "George, let the kid have a little fun". And I went cruising.
