15 Anderson Street, The Burg.
Another view of the legendary Casino restaurant:)
I wanted one with the alley as so many of my fellow
Trenton High Alumni remember walking past this to and
from school as well as eating the great Italian hot dogs
there:)

Remember going for hot dogs for lunch, mmm good! As band leader I was able to give out "get out of school chits" to practice. More often than not these were used to have a loooong lunch at the Casino or for day trips to the shore.
Use to take my 2 boys there for breakfast on Saturday mornings. Later would be back for the dogs.
I worked there after school and weekends all through high school. Gino, Albert and Joe Pug would make me laugh the whole time. We lived half way down the alley.
Was there ever anything more quintessentially "Trenton" than a Tony Go's hot dog??? Miss them!
The Casino was a very popular hang out spot for teenagers back in the day. But a uniform was required. The young men all wore finely starched "high boy" shirts, shark skin pants, pulled high, and shined black leather shoes. The hair combed in a duck's ass and a toothpick in the mouth completed the look. And in cold weather, a black leather jacket.
We called them necks, but I don't know why.
