Sadly the Advent Lutheran Church on So Broad St held it's final service on August 9,2009. The congregation was growing older and the young families were/are moving out of the city. A beautiful service was conducted by the Bishop that gave tribute to the church members, pastors and the church's contribution to the commutity.
