Miami Alley, The Burg.
I never knew this was called Miami Alley. Wow, you learn
something new every day.
This was between Division Street and Anderson Street and
is the first alley south of Hamilton Avenue.
On one side of the alley is Columbus Park and the other
side is Casino.
Many Burg folks know this alley mostly from the days
they attended Trenton High:)

Mack,
If I'm not mistaken the McGarigles lived in the house on the left side of this alley in the 50s and 60s. They were my cousins.
Am I in heaven, or am I in Miami?
Yeah, this was a thoroughfare from THS back to home. When you are a kid, you never go home the same way once.
You are correct about McGarigles house. Ed
Gezzz, you do learn something everyday. I walked it many, many times and never heard it referred to as Miami Alley...go figure! Thanks!

My wife was mugged in that alley in 1984 when she was 7 mos pregnant. My friends at the Casino at the other end of the alley got her purse back along with some retribution but I have not been back since. My mother moved away shortly afterward.I was back for a funeral last month and was afraid to get out of the car.
