Mack,

If I remember correctly, originally DeLorenzo's on Hamilton was three or four houses down Hamilton closer to Park. Sometime in the early/mid 60s there was a fire at the restaurant and they converted the house where they are currently located into a restaurant. Then again, maybe I'm not remembering correctly.

Hi Stephen, Yes you are correct
as usual:)
They were once at 1013 Hamilton
Avenue, a few houses down.

Mack: I may borrow your DeLorenzo's picture and put it as a comment on my blog if that's OK with you. I want to go there now.
Where's Barb P. haven't heard from her. If you talk to her tell her hello.

Hi JoeZ:)
Use any of my pics at any time.
I openly encourage the use of
my pics to any other reader out there too:)
I am happy any folks care enough
about the old Burg to use them:)

SoDak reader:
hey guys,..not Burg related but there for a time was a DeLorenzos by The Artic Pkwy.on Olden south of what is now (if it's still open)
the Aldi or whatever low budget food store that is.
It was right next to the
creek on the other side was the Fayva shoe shopping center.

We lived about a block and an alley away on South Cook Ave. Delorenzo's Tomato Pies was a friday night tradition. My friend Paul Seiler and I would go for lunch on days that we had off for snow, after shoveling sidewalks for the money to eat.

My first real date was at DeLorenzo's. Jane Pagnani 1963 Jr.High #2 just down the street.I still call pizza "Tomato pie". I get some very strange looks from outsiders.

I may be the only native Trentonian who's never been to the DeLorenzo's on Hudson - I've ONLY been to the one on Hamilton Ave! Does anyone else remember their pasta fagiola? They stopped serving it years and years ago, but it was outstanding, and I've been trying to recreate the recipe just from memory for all these years, with limited success.
