Now a catering service.
Opened in 1951, this place was a local legend:)
A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

Marsilio'a was the favorite "Burg" place for Janet Evanovich, she wrote about it in her books and went there when in the area.. it's a shame they closed it down but for the catering... a small place with a big heart....
I remember going to "Marsilio's Kitchen" with my parents while I was very young. Each table had a wine vinegar decanter containing the "mother of vinegar." I thought the vinegar to be faulty becuase it had something in it that didn't belong.
We began Every meal with a huge Antipasto and I had no room left for the main course.
Even way back then, it was a friendly room.
Marsilio's was originaly located on Butler and Whittaker Aves., the Nonna used to make homemade Gnocchi's ...I know I ate there as a young child and lived on Butler St above Tammaro's warehouse, it was closer to Chestnut Ave.
