528 South Olden Avenue, Villa Park/Hamilton
Once upon a time this was Saint Anthony's School:)
A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

With all those closures, what are they using the building for now.
Its some sort of pre-school now
I think:)
How sad that we've lost so many schools and churches in our area. My husband, Tim, went to St. Joe's, then St. Anthony Grammar School, and on to St. Anthony's High School. My cousins also went to St. Anthony's Grammar School before moving to Hamilton Twp in the mid- to late-1960s.
This picture brings back incredible memories. My sisters and I all went to St. Anthony's. all three of us started off in the old shack that eventually housed the White Elephant Sale at the carnival. Mrs. Flanagan was our kindergarten teacher. This building housed third, seventh and eigth grade as well as the library. The gym was to the left, and the convent to the right. So sad that they are all gone.
