Wasn't the building on the right Lavinthal's Shoe Store? It was a triangular shaped building (many sotres were with the strange street layout in the Burg).
Richard Lavinthal was a year older than I was, graduated from THS and I believe stayed in the business. His specialty was orthopedic shoes.
